KB finest A/S has developed a new smoked organic salmon product series named pure organ!c, a product aimed at the retail sector.

KB became certified to produce smoked organic salmon in the beginning of 2009 and experienced great demand for smoked organic salmon products at the BioFach exhibition for organic products in Nuremberg, Germany in February. Pure organ!c is already listed in two variants, one in Coop Denmark and the other in the Danish retail chain, Dansk Supermarked. Both products show promising results and will soon be joined by a third variant in Metro Denmark shops.

KB is now certified according to the IFS and BRC standards.

KB has been certified according to the IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards which ensure a high level of food safety, food quality and documentation of procedures.

KB has undertaken the audits for these standards to show that we live up to the demands of the retail industry and to our reputation as a producer of high quality smoked fish.
