KB is now certified according to the IFS and BRC standards.

KB has been certified according to the IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards which ensure a high level of food safety, food quality and documentation of procedures.

KB has undertaken the audits for these standards to show that we live up to the demands of the retail industry and to our reputation as a producer of high quality smoked fish.

KB finest is now MSC certified.

At KB finest we wish to contribute to the protection and survival of the marine ecosystems. Therefore we have been certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) to produce sustainable wild salmon. The MSC is an independent organisation working to preserve the natural fish stocks and to promote responsible fishing.

KB offers Keta, Coho and Sockeye products labelled with the MSC logo.

KB won the Fresh Ideas Award at IFE

At the recent International Food & Drink Event (IFE) in London, KB won the Fresh Ideas Award for our Carpaccio Salmon and Carpaccio Tuna products. Fresh Ideas display innovative products at the event and the most innovative new product receives the Fresh Ideas Award.

The winning products, Carpaccio Salmon and Carpaccio Tuna, are ready-to-eat products containing everything needed for a perfect starter for 2 persons.
